KrazyDiamond™ opened for a good reason and one reason only. To accommodate all the loving partygoers in the Chiba, Tsudanuma, and Funabashi area. The bar was created directly after Sala, a popular bar that ran successfully for 18 years, closed in October 2009.
After panic broke out among the 200 regular guests on where to go next, Forrest & Izumi decided to help out and opened KrazyDiamond™ on November 7 the same year. The name was chosen during the grand opening party on November 21, where a young lady submitted the bar name in a drawing out of about 100 names. We loved it from the first moment and honored Megumi’s suggestion with ¥10,000 in cash.
From thereon, we are steadily improving the atmosphere of KrazyDiamond™ to provide Sala survivors with a new home and others who are looking for something different.
Forrest, a crazy-a$$ S.O.B. from Texas amuses the crowd with his guitar, stories of his travels, and other nonsense that seem to never find an ending.
His wife Izumi and a few sweet bar ladies are greeting you with a warm smile and an invitation to have another drink, sometimes even on the house. Currently we have two new staff, Kyle (NZ) & Hanae, who are fantastic people that are more than willing to aid you when you come through the door.
“Come party your fucking ass off” is the current motto and we urge everyone to come and enjoy themselves. KrazyDiamond™ also welcomes anyone who is up for a real good time, especially if you have a party group and need a place to host your gig.
